Note We can confirm that Excelsior study I, Excelsior 4-nacelled study I and Excelsior 4-nacelled study II are canon and appeared as wreckage in TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds II" and/or in "Unification I+II". The hull labels "USS Excelsior NCC-2000" on the three Eaglemoss reconstructions, on the other hand, were added for aesthetic reasons, rather than making any sense. Excelsior study I is actually labeled "USS Alka-Selsior NCC-1404"...
